what is ritual red?
karkade is the refreshing red tea of egypt, and is a juice or tea made from hibiscus flower petals. It’s been an egyptian favorite since the ancient pharoahs, and is perfect for summer. egyptian hibiscus plantations are mainly found in the upper egypt regions of qena and aswan, and in the oasis of fayoum (faiyum).
